No, you don't have a supernatural bike...when the choke gets a bit worn in some bikes, it slides back into off-position, probably because the spring is weak and the engine is vibrating. To cure this, take a pair of pliers and bend the brass rod carefully, just a supertiny bit.
Not the best fix, but the fastest.
